Harry's P.O.V.

Harry felt silly on his way to his classroom. He should have graduated last year with the rest of his class, but because Hermione, Ron and himself skipped their last year to look for Voldemort, he was behind.

"I go out and save the world from the bad guy, and I still have to go back and finish school to become an auror! Of all the rotten luck . . ." Harry thought as he walked to class. There were a few perks though, for example; he mostly had classes with only Ron and Hermione, which infuriated Hermione to no end. He did have his own room. They all did. Although, since Ron and Hermione were dating they mostly ended up sharing Hermione's room. Potions was still as horrid as ever, especially since Malfoy had also dropped out last year and he too had to come back to school.

"It just figures that the one guy I could go without ever seeing again has to be in my potions class." Harry grumbled to himself as he walked into the room. He was the only one of his three friends still taking it, as Ron and Hermione had chosen to take Muggle Studies together instead. Harry's robes swirled around him as he marched into Potions class with Malfoy and spotted Malfoy already inside.

Draco's P.O.V.

"Potter's certainly changed . . ." Draco thought as Harry walked into class. He watched as the messy haired brunette sat down beside him. His school robes were loose but Draco could still tell that Harry had been working out, as the muscles on his arms were well defined. He got out his school supplies and turned to Draco.

"Let's make a deal Malfoy: you don't treat me like dirt and I won't kick your ass on the quidditch field. And since we have to be each other's partners all year, let's be civil too." Harry looked at Draco with a cool indifference.

"Sure, why not? You never know, we may end up being friends." Draco smirked, and stuck out his hand for Potter to shake. Harry snorted in disgust, but shook Draco's hand. Professor Snape walked in and class started.

Harry's P.O.V. (After class)

"That has to have been the weirdest potions class in the history of the world, muggle or otherwise." Harry thought to himself as he walked into the great hall for lunch. He sat next to Hermione and Ron at usual at their table in the back. Hermione was trying futilely to study, but Ron kept snogging her neck.

"Oi! Mate! Get a room for Merlin's sake!" Harry turned away in disgust and looked around. His eyes roamed around the room not settling on one thing for very long, until he spotted Malfoy. Harry watched him eat for a moment but quickly got back into the conversation before Malfoy saw him looking.

"Now Ron really!" Hermione was trying to reason with Ron, while he was giving her hickies. Hermione was bright red, and eventually just shoved Ron off, thought he didn't look the slightest bit upset about it. He was grinning madly. Harry on the other hand, was about to bust a gut he was laughing so hard. Hermione just huffed and left.

"What's with her?" Ron asked as she walked away. He looked over at Harry in confusion. Harry just shook his head.

"Hey mate, can I tell you something?"  Harry was feeling rather odd. "Actually, just meet me later in my room, bring Hermione too." Harry wanted to test something; this new feeling was extremely out of the ordinary.  He kept having the urge to look over at Draco. Study the line his hair made as his bangs fell across his face, or gaze into his beautiful grey eyes. Harry didn't know what was going on. He got up and walked away quickly, deaf to Ron's questions.

Draco P.O.V. (After class)

Draco watched Harry walk out of the potions classroom. "He has a nice butt . . . Wait! Why am I thinking that?!" Draco shook his head and walked out of class, determinately thinking it was just a fluke. As he was eating his lunch later, alone as he usually did, he couldn't help but stare at Harry the whole time. Draco knew he was gay; he'd had several boyfriends, but Harry? It couldn't be; they had been enemies forever. Then Draco felt Harry looking at him. Draco hadn't looked up, pretended to be oblivious so Harry could look as long as he wished. Which turned out to be much longer than a normal glance. Draco knew Harry had dated Ginny Weasly and another girl whose named he couldn't remember, but he was definitely giving off "gay" vibes. Interesting. Harry said something to his friend Ron, and then quickly walked out as if he was running from something. Draco decided to follow him.
